About

Content: The content on this website includes a sample selection of the work that has happened in the Log Man Studios over the past ~8 years.

History: This project started as simply a vehicle to make people laugh.  Quick drawings on scratch paper, left inconspicuously in friends mail piles, on refrigerator doors, in picture frames on motel room walls... these are the foundation blocks on which the Log Man Industries are built.

After That: What started as funny little jokes and gags became... more jokes and gags.  Nicer paints, finer canvases... there's something funny about taking hours to mill poplar to dimension, build the best stretcher frames, stretch Belgium linen perfectly over the frames and apply 3-5 coats of artist-grade gesso... and then painting a 15-minute image of something farting on it's surface. Funny indeed.

Log Blog: I'll be posting updates every Thursday... please check in periodically for very important Log Man Industries updates.  New sketches, works in progress, ideas, jokes, general observations... you can expect all of this and more... at least once a week!

Log Community: LMI encourages everyone to add to convo!  Please sent any of the following items to info@logmanindustries.com

  1. pics of your own similarly-themed art
  2. questions
  3. funny stories
  4. comments
  5. pics of Log Man artwork that you have in your personal collection

All appropriate content sent in will be posted on the Log Blog.  This is going to be very fun.

Log Man for sale: All work in the portfolio collections is for sale, if it's not not already sold and still exists.  LMI will be re-printing and selling holiday cards very soon.  Stay tuned.  And, from time to time, LMI will take commissioned projects.  Pricing on everything is TBD, depending on how I feel that day.  Seriously, I once sold a painting for 1$, a bottle of John Powers and a Russet potato.  (Thanks Charles).  Don't think that you will get that lucky, but it doesn't hurt to ask.  Again, contact us at info@logmanindustries for more information.

Logs of Thanks: Thanks for checking this out.  I hope to hear from you soon.

Super-Sincerely, Eagle 1, LMI Creative Director.
