Welcome back to the LLOG BLOG. (Please note that we are not using adjectives like “World-reknown” or '“Industry-leading” anymore.)
Anyway, this week, while we have the time, we are looking to clean up our work spaces (both physical and mental). As you may know, all LOGMAN INDUSTRIES Creative Rooms are required to use cork-board vision boards at all offices around the world. (See sample below). We have requested that all of these VB’s (as they are called in the office…cool, huh?) get completely cleared as we prepare for a new line of work and product for the post-COVID-19 world.
Here is an example of one of our VB-19s:
So… We had our many offices send in their some of their favorite VB items from over the past few years.
Oh cool! Here’s one just in from the northeast:
NOOICE! Here’s a cool one sent in from one of our west coast offices:
Nice cake! We will archive that one in the LMI Archival Vaults in… (we cannot disclose that location).
Here’s one from our LMI: Rock City Creative Dept in Cleveland, OH:
Here’s one from our LMI: Creativity In Sports Program Dept in Fort Collins, CO:
I think that one is an inside joke or something. That one will NOT likely be sent to the LMI Archival Vaults.
Oh, here’s another post card of a Strater painting of Hemingway from that Ogunquit Museum:
BTW: That museum is pretty cool. It’s right on the water and has a wide variety of art, the most interesting of which is, of course, the paintings. Go check it out sometime! The Ogunquit Museum of Art
Anyway, here’s a small snap shot of a large painting that’s been on one VB for over 10 years! (LMI: Arts and Logistics Dept: Hollywood, FL)
This one, too, has been on an LMI VB for far too long (LMI: Creative Devs: Hollywood, CA)
Okay, Let’s allow the LLOG BLOG Committee to take a break from all of that VB stuff. Let’s go to our new LLOG BLOG READER FAVORITE… The ARTISTS OF THE WEEK!
First one, He’s an oldie (1445-1510) from an old country… He’s mainly known for such hits as, “The Birth of Venus” and “Venus and Mars” (look ‘em up) and also wore funny hats! Well boys may be from Mars and girls from Venus, but this dude hails from the boot shaped peninsula (?) we call ITALY… Yes, you guessed it… its SANDRO BOTTICELLI ! BOOOOOOM!
That snip is from the larger 1483 tempura work called, “The Story of Natagio degli Onesti: Scene 3: The Banquet in the Pinewoods.” Well, if I knew it was going to be this kind of banquet, I’d a…. Never mind.
